I feel like I learn so much everyday and I want to blog about it all, but due to time constraints and other commitments, the ideas I have, well they just remain ideas. However, this post is one that I am carving out the time to make but I think it's really important... well not deadly important, but it's really had me thinking and evaluating my own money habits and also those of others.
I study Economics at school and for my Prep(my school call homework "Prep", crazy I know, but we've become accustomed to it now), we had to read this article that outlined the difference between income and wealth. I was intrigued because we had to answer the question "what's the difference between income and wealth?" and prior to reading the article, I'd never really paid much attention to the idea that there could even be a difference - I assumed that naturally those with a high income automatically were wealthy.
I'll allow you to read the article, but in short it draws attention to the fact that those who have a high income are not necessarily wealthy and that those with a low income can indeed be wealthy. It really changed my perspective on money and my spending habits and now more than ever I'm more intent on not spending every last penny I have and living paycheck-to-paycheck(I no longer work, but by paycheck-to-paycheck, I mean the day my allowance from either my mom or dad falls due :p)
I absolutely adore the phrase "you learn something new everyday" and this piece of Prep has really reinforced this adoration of the article.

P.S. I've tidied my room so it's not as bad as it was in my previous post and I feel a hell of a lot more confident with my mechanics mock that I have tomorrow. This week needs to hurry up and be over because preparing for these mocks was STRESSFUL!!
