Wooo, it's Burgundy Sunday.
Last term at school, a bunch of girls and I had this weekly event called Burgundy Wednesdays - it's all in the name really, on Wednesdays we wore something that was Burgundy-coloured. As time went on, we soon grew lazy and also ran out of new Burgundy items that coincided with my school's dress code and sadly Burgundy Wednesdays no longer exist :(
But today for me was Burgundy Sunday.
I popped out to church today as I haven't been for yonks and threw together this outfit as my time was quite limited as I had to wash and blowdry my hair lol.

My gilet is by Regatta and I picked it up in the men's section from one of my favourite jumble sales last year for £1 - yes, £1! It's quite oversized, but with the denim shirt thrown on underneath it creates a farmer look which I think is quite cute. It's also from a jumble sale and cost 20p if I'm not mistaken. My burgundy-striped tee is by Topman and is from the same jumble sale as the other two - it also cost 20p and initially I bought it impulsively, but now it's really one of my fave. tees. My jeans are from H&M which I wore in my last outfit post and were about £3 in last year's Christmas sale - I thought this shade of blue contrasted with the blue of the denim shirt whereas my other pairs of jeans aren't such a nice contrast. Finally, my shoes are from New Look and cost either £2 or £3 - I can't remember exactly, I bought four pairs of these types of shoes in their Christmas sales last year for £15 - I'll post about the other three pairs some time soon.
